The idea for Midnight Blue Crafts first appeared in 2019 when I was writing my PhD thesis in my apartment in Draycott, UK. I wanted to break up the constant writing and computer screen staring with some creativity. I bought a cheap sewing machine and looked for some projects that matched my interests. Not much later I made my very first Book Sleeve.

I worked for a year on improving the design and finding the right fabrics and materials. When I moved back to Belgium in 2020, I thought it was time to launch my own webshop. Et voila, www.MidnightBlueCrafts.com was born!

In the meantime, almost 4 years have passed and a lot has changed! At the end of 2022, I signed a contract with Standaard Boekhandel to provide their stores throughout Belgium with Book Sleeves. I traded in my cheap sewing machine for a professional one and started thinking about new products and ideas.

I am super excited to introduce new fabrics and new products to you in 2024!
